While we do receive a small grant from MOE, majority of our funds derive from generous donations of supporters and alumni. Help make an impact on the work of The Girls’ Brigade Singapore by donating to our cause. The Girls’ Brigade Singapore is a registered charity under the Institution of Public Character. As such, we are eligible to issue tax-deductible receipts of up to 2.5 times the amount donated.

PayNow is an internet banking mobile application that allows users of 9 local banks to transfer cash in SGD to designated recipients. Participating banks include DBS/POSB, UOB, OCBC, Citibank, HSBC, Maybank, Standard Chartered, BOC and ICBC.

 

How do I donate via PayNow?

  1. Scan the QR code provided below using your local banking or PayNow mobile app.
  2. Verify that the name of recipient is ‘The Girls’ Brigade Singapore’ (UEN: S61SS0001A)
  3. Key in the amount you would wish to donate
  4. If you intend to donate to specific companies or school, please indicate the Company number on the Bill Reference space provided.
  5. Click ‘NEXT’ to proceed to the next section.
  6. Verify the transfer details before clicking ‘CONFIRM’ to compete the transaction successfully.

Giving.sg is a safe and secure online donation platform managed by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). Donors who wish to opt for a monthly donation can sign up for an account anonymously. One- time giving is also available through this method.

GB Fortnight is an annual event where fellow GB Girls appeal for the collection of donations through friends and family members. We are licenced by the Singapore Police Force to allow our Girls to conduct card-based donations and adhere to strict standards regarding the handling of donation procedures. If you still wish to donate even after the end of our Fortnight Donation period, please proceed to use other donation methods as stated above.
